Few tips to get ideal things without compromising your child’s wellness
SCHOOL BAG
- Backpack is preferable
- It should be worn on both shoulders equally
- The bag should be hung close to the back of the body
- The child should walk with a straight back without bending forward.
- The bag’s weight should not be more than 10% of the child’s body weight.
- Follow these tips to stay free from hunching back at a later age in your kid.
SHOES
- Shoes with proper support and arch should be used.
- Avoid tight-fitting shoes which leads to crowding of toes.
- Cotton socks are preferable, as it aids in proper aeration and ulcer prevention.
STUDY TABLE AND CHAIR
- Remember the rules of 90 degrees. Ankle-knee-hip at 90 degrees.
- The spine should be erect with a proper elbow, and wrist support.
